Donating to Raising Our
Voices
As a newly forming initiative, Raising Our Voices has sought funds
to:
• Bring the Shades of Praise to St. Paul to kick-off discussions
focusing on race;
• Build continuing activities amongst St. Paul churches
and their communities to further the beloved community;
• (In the future) Provide seed grants to inter-church activities.
Double Your Contribution
Recently the Pohlad Family Foundation has issued a challenge grant
to Raising Our Voices to support the continuing reconciliation work
in New Orleans of the Shades of Praise. For each dollar raised in
Minnesota, the Pohlad Foundation will provide a 1:1 match, thereby
doubling your contribution. All of this money goes straight to New
Orleans and the Shades. To date (4/15) we have raised over $2000,
thereby sending more than $4000 to support the work of the Shades.
To Contribute
The financial agent for Raising Our Voices is Unity-Unitarian Church
in St. Paul. All contributions are tax-deductible. You may contribute
either on-line or via check.
